Yorkshire and surrounding regions Tuesday 28th April 2020 8:01:00 pm

We're seeing a potential issue in the TTB network with a loss to Yorkshire and some surrounding regions.

We are awaiting further response from them as to the cause.

TTB have confirmed that the Network card (FPC 10) has been replaced successfully and that service has been restored since 21:49hrs. TTB are currently rebalancing some traffic however this will not cause any further impact. A monitoring period will now be held to ensure stability and that no further issues are identified before closure.

If you continue to have no connection, please power off your hardware for 10-15 minutes and reconnect. Should the issue continue, please contact support to investigate further.

TTB have confirmed that the engineer arrived on site at approximately 09:40hrs. Investigations are ongoing into the failed network card (FPC 10) and further updates on the progress will be provided as soon as available.

TTB have identified that that customers connected via NGE001.MAL are experiencing total loss of data services. The following exchange are impacted - Ripon (MYRPN), Melrosegate (MYMSG), Bedale (NEBDL), Withernsea (MYWIT), Skelton (NESK), Strensall (MYSTR), Gilberdyke (MYGIL), Loftus (NELOF), Burton Pidsea (MYBPI), Market Weighton (MYMAR), Brotton (NEBRO), Holme On Spalding (MYHSM), Hutton Rudby (NEHTR), Clifton (MYCTN), Kirkbymoorside (MYKMS), Topcliffe (NETP), Partington (MYPTN), Saltburn (NESLB)

TTB have advised that from investigations this looks to have been caused by a network card failure (FPC 10).

A field engineer is currently being tasked to site and further details regards the ETA will be provided.
